Are you finding ways to surprise and delight your customers?

Customers initially choose to spend money on your product or service because either they need or want what you offer. Maybe the price/location is right. Or they’ve seen or heard a good review. But this doesn’t guarantee they’ll return or that they’ll tell someone else.

Be mindful that your customers’ experience exceeds both what they expect as well as what they will find at a competitor.

On a recent overnight trip to the Catskills, my happy place, I was surprised and delighted with a particular offering at the hotel.

I woke up early to feed the chickens, collect their eggs and then walk to breakfast myself and hand the collected eggs to the chef. A true “Farm to Table” experience.

My farm fresh scrambled eggs were amazing.

Collecting the eggs was memorable.
