On a recent afternoon out with my sister, she recommended we stop into a clothing store that she loved but was new to me. The product and pricing met my expectations, but it was their service that really left a lasting impression.
→ The Sales Associate asked for my name long before I stepped into the dressing room.
→ They proactively pulled styles that were new and/or still in the back to supplement my own picks.
→ They eagerly exchanged sizes and gave their opinion, when asked.
→ They genuinely wanted to know what occasion I was shopping for.
→ They suggested I leave my purchases for steaming while I continued to shop and have lunch at the mall.
While I know that most of the above list is in the job description of a Sales Associate, I continuously felt supported and cared for throughout my shopping experience.
Yes, it was ultimately a strategy to purchase the company’s product, but to me it was #personalizedservice at its finest and I can’t wait to return.
